What You'll Do

  • Snowflake Engineer / Lead for our Sogeti P&G Unit (remote) must be US Citizen, Green Card, or OPT.
Minimum education qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree or Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
  • • Snowflake SQL: Writing SQL queries against Snowflake, Developing scripts Unix, Python, etc. to do Extract, Load, and Transform data• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing• Hands-on experience with Snowflake stored procedures• Experience with Azure Data ecosystem and AzDo• In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modeling structure principles• Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.• Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements• Good to have familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)• Ability to effectively function in a cross-team's environment• Work in an Agile Development Environments, Attend Ceremonies, Meet Sprint Deadlines Requirements:Bachelor's degree typically in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics or another STEM degree. 5+ years proven ability of professional data development experience2+ years developing experience with Snowflake2+ years developing experience with Python1+ years experience with PySpark/Spark1+ experience with AzureFull understanding of ETL conceptsExposure to GitStrong understanding of Agile Principles (Scrum)Good to have familiarity with Consumer data.
