Job Title: Site Manager

Job Summary:

As the Site Manager at our Clients Industrial Site, this individual will be expected to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of Facility Maintenance to ensure that client's needs are met and/or exceeded by performing facilities maintenance duties to be completed personally or through delegation. The Site Manager is expected to be the key interface between the Facilities Maintenance staff and all in scope third party contractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops key client relationships with client, subcontractor, etc.
  • Ensure all EMCOR employees are serving both internal and external customers' needs
  • Maintain the site process manuals and ensures compliance to SOPs
  • Manage the EMCOR Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Coordinate and supervisor on-site subcontractor work adhering to all EMCOR and Client site safety and permit requirements
  • Assess and evaluate employees' performance through designated practices
  • Create work environment to develop employees' skills
  • Ensure paperwork from site is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Sets standards and expectations for all team members, including PPE use and Site Safety requirements
  • Perform audits of work completed by team members
  • Reports results of audits to necessary parties and performs training with employees to strengthen any needed areas
  • Complete work orders as needed
  • Manage employees with skill sets including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, Fire Life & Safety, and various other trades required on-site
  • Ensure that all designated work is completed within time frame and budget according to client's guidelines
  • Perform all other duties and actions needed to maintain the continuous function and expectations of the facility as set forth by the client and General Manager
  • Performs light maintenance duties and preventive maintenance tasks as required
  • Management of subcontractor relationships
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Oversight of direct services and facility crew to include such employees as electricians, mechanics, HVAC technicians and other facilities maintenance employees
    • Management of subcontractor relationships
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as Industrial Site Management; understands essentials of project management: time, scope, budget, client expectations
  • Understands importance of meeting and exceeding client expectations
  • Works and participates well as a team member; leads by example; hands on supervisor
  • Communicate well with others; clearly write and speak to clients, superiors, coworkers
  • Good organization skills; disciplined approach to daily activities; takes a sense of pride in all aspects of the job
  • Exposure to the functions and importance of Facilities Maintenance
  • Self-motivated; ability to show initiative when problems are presented; manages time wisely, remains productive while working independently
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) Required
  • OSHA 29CFR 1910.119, Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals
  • Strong Safety background
  • Experience in Chemical Industry preferred
  • Technical Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college. Three to five years' experience in Production/Manufacturing Environment desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and email and will possess the aptitude to be trained in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
