Full Job Description:

This role is an exciting position that will play a key role in the support and development of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Technologies department. Located at our new, state-of-the-art division headquarters, this role will have the opportunity to collaborate and interact with a great team as well as other corporate functions.

The sensor manager is responsible for overseeing the IIoT business for Dodge. The Sensors business is defined as Dodge Sensor(s), Intelli-Lube and any new sensors In OPTIFY family. The primary function of this position is managing the business to achieve both top and bottom-line sales goals as well as leading initiatives that align with the overall growth strategy for Dodge. This includes leading business team meetings, collaborating with sales and customers on new opportunities, driving sensor product development and working with operations, engineering, marcom and supply chain on key projects.

Main Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Manage key projects and initiatives that align with the Dodge growth strategy.
  • Reporting-P&L review, business activity/status updates to management
  • Evaluate and make timely decisions on incoming requests from customers and sales.
  • Product marketing, messaging, and communications
  • Voice of customers, market studies, competitive analysis
  • Product development
  • Product portfolio management
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • 4-year college degree is highly desired
  • Major in Economics, Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration or Engineering,
  • Field sales or other mechanical power transmission commercial experience preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Analytical skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem-solving
  • Team Collaboration - understands values, and willingly contributes to team sessions.
  • Communication (oral and written communications) and presentation skills, public speaking and training skills required.
  • Ability to travel required, approximately 30%
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
