As a Senior Software Engineer part of Sam's Club, you'll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You'll oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done.

Your Qualifications:

• Strong programming and engineering skills. Must have an analytical design approach and demonstrated experience in software engineering and programming.
• 3+ years of experience in developing apps written in JavaScript with React framework.
• Experience of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring framework, MQTT and RESTful microservices
• Experience with API design, development and management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Github, Jenkins
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Code and platform-as-a-service.
• Architecture of logging and monitoring for various services.
• Understanding of DevOps methodology.
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Scrum/Agile lead experience.
• Experience on Azure Cloud Platform or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Ability to multitask between several different requirements and features concurrently.
• Ability to perform in a team environment.
• Have a true passion about Technology. It's a must!
• Nice to have a Mobile experience either iOS or Android development or React-Native development.

As a member of the of the Engineering group, you'll be responsible for evaluating large amounts of data as part of the ongoing effort to optimize processes and delivery protocols. You'll operate as a trusted advisor as it relates to efficiencies and best practices. As a senior member of the team, you'll be able to say that you work for the world's largest retailer and contribute to the development to best-in-class methodologies that impacted perception and drastically changed business as we know it.
