The Role

Working under the Director of Industrial Security and/or Manager Security  Federal  the Senior Security Representative, will support  and provide oversight to complex government  programs with responsibility for collateral to SCI.

The Main Responsibilities

Provide direct oversight to Communications Security (COMSEC) account for special programs to include management of 1000s of pieces of equipment, systematic hands on care for equipment, providing field and administrative training as required, understanding of COMSEC value to the contract(s) and overall expert in field.
Additional knowledge in  areas of Physical, Personnel, Facility and OPSEC for both DoD and SCI programs to ensure the protection of classified information a plus
Will oversee the investigations of incidents of security infractions or violations to the Director of Industrial Security and the customer. Will ensure the follow through on the development for areas of improvement of the security program to prevent future incidents or violations
Will work closely with the Director of Industrial Security to ensure all security policies and procedures are documented and all briefed employees are properly trained on program classification policies. 
The Senior Security Representative will ensure the interpretation of  government program classification guides and education is applied as needed to the Government programs
Administer, direct, and review security operation programs to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, customers and others.
Advise management in improving and carrying out policies in accordance with security and institutional, state and federal regulations.
Develop methods to improve security policies, processes, and practices, and recommend changes to management.
Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform managers, employees and others of security policies, procedures and practices.
Fulfill all reporting requirements of all-relevant government rules and regulations.
Manage the design and development of specialized training to guide security personnel and others through security decisions and actions.
Represent the organization in formal meetings with outside organizations on matters dealing with security and protective services.

Investigative and analytical techniques, procedures and requirements.

Basic Qualifications, Skills and Education:

COMSEC experience a must.
COMSEC training huge benefit.
This is a security administration position. 
Working knowledge of resource material that describes the policies and procedures for the protection of classified information and the ability to overlay those policies to develop a strong security program
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and 

 

Education:

Bachelors degree or applicable years of experience preferred
Current TS/SSBI (within 5 years)
CI Polygraph preferred
