CAI is seeking a Salesforce Consultant. This is a 1-year contractopportunity. This is a hybrid opportunity; candidates must be able to work on-site 3 days a week, Our client is based in Trenton, NJ.

We are seeking a senior level candidate with specialized knowledge and experience in application development (requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing & implementation) with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object-oriented programming & Client Server.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems.

• Responsible for being a liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements, architect, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field

• (7) + years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object-oriented programming, and Client Server technologies.

• 7 years of experience in the Salesforce declarative environment

• 7 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration experience

• Salesforce Developer or Admin track certifications

• 5 years of experience documenting application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.

• 7 years of experience identifying and evaluating vendor/partner software and integration strategies.

• 7 years of experience of developing and coding solutions to specification.

• 5 years of experience identifying and implementing appropriate testing strategies.

• 7 years of experience executing all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution.

• 5 years of experience participating in a self-directed team environment. Collaborating with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements.

• 7 years of experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API STRONGLY PREFERRED.

• 5 years of Agile development experience

• 5 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, JavaScript

• 5 years of experience creating dashboards and reports in Salesforce

• 5 years of experience retrieving data from Oracle Databases

Desired Education and Experience:

• Experience creating reports in Tableau (5 years' experience)

• Experience in Public Sector Foundation (5 years' experience)

Skills:

• Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people

• Ability to think outside of the box and design innovative solutions

• Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver a solution; at least 7 years of experience

• Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients (5 years)

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
