Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is searching for an experienced Senior Project Execution/Construction Engineer to support projects for the Subsea group in our Houston, TX office.

This is a challenging and highly visible role, which requires candidates to have execution and construction management experience, Due to the nature of the work, candidates may be required to go offshore routinely and on short notice.

Responsibilities :

• Construction Management Support for variety of projects (some offshore involvement)
• Project Engineering support
• Preparation of work packs and execution planning for offshore projects
• Developing high level construction schedules for various projects
• Offshore installation contract management support during execution
• Construction management support activities
• Constructability and Installation support activities
• Risk assessment and HAZID responsibilities
• Scheduling and management support activities
• Progress reporting and monitoring responsibilities
• Offshore construction activities

Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years experience in construction management or project engineering for offshore projects
• Must be available to work offshore on short notice
• Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role
• Experience writing high quality technical reports a strong asset
