Tripadvisor, the world's largest travel platform, helps over 450 million travelers each month make every trip their best trip. The New Ventures team is responsible for investigating, launching, and scaling new travel products and businesses for the company. In 2020, the New Ventures Team launched Reco - its first new consumer business. Reco is a new platform that helps travelers plan unforgettable vacations, handcrafted by trusted trip designers who build tailor-made itineraries. This is an important, early-stage venture for Tripadvisor to expand its overall business and audience.

The Senior Product Manager will own key portions of the Reco product and user experience; and will define product strategy, prioritization, feature requirements, and collaborate with design & engineering to bring products to life. You will understand key user problems via customer research and data analysis, and will translate these as well as business needs into solutions. These efforts will be aimed at improving key metrics and you will be responsible for leading efforts to make progress against business objectives. To be successful, you will be passionate about your users, skilled with data, able to craft a vision, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.The Senior Product Manager will report to the GM of Reco and will be based in our Needham office.

The ideal candidate will have a broad interest in product & technology, a strong bias toward action, excellent interpersonal skills, and comfort with ambiguity.

What You'll Do:

• Own, define and manage a product roadmap for specific products on the Reco platform from inception through implementation
  
• Work with design, engineering, marketing, research and analytics partners to understand user problems, set requirements, establish key metrics, craft the user experience, and develop features
  
• Research, identify, and form creative solutions to user problems and business opportunities
  
• Measure success of Reco's products and monitor data to ensure business objectives are continually met
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other leads in Engineering, Analytics, Legal, Content Policy, Customer Support, PR and stakeholders across Tripadvisor
  

What We're Looking For:

• 2-4+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer product
  
• Consistent track record of executing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring multiple projects are completed in an appropriate and timely manner
  
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective action plans to resolve issues
  
• Excellent communication to effectively and efficiently articulate both strategic vision and specific details to various stakeholders, from senior leadership to individual contributors.
  
• Ability to write clear and concise product requirements, status updates and results analysis/recommendations
  
• Empathy and a drive to deeply understand customer needs
  
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential
