Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Senior Product Development Engineer will be developing novel products used to process and purify biopharmaceutical products.

You will work cross-functionally with teams that include R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, Sales, Quality and Procurement to drive product ideas through development and validation phases to achieve successful commercialization. In addition, you implement exciting projects using proven scientific and engineering principles.
Location: Bedford, MA, USA

Travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience
Or
  • Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
  • Minimum 3 years industy experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of innovation and success in conceptualization and execution of technology or product development projects.
  • Technical innovation and successful execution on meaningful projects, including a demonstrated ability to apply validated scientific and engineering principles on projects with high complexity and difficulty.
  • Familiarity with medical device / filter manufacturing processes and current groundbreaking technologies.
  • Experience performing Design of Experiments and decision making based on data analytics.
  • Ability to lead complex product/technology development projects.
  • Hands-on technical skills in a lab environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
