RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Santa Monica, CA that is seeking a remote Senior Network Engineer.Summary:The Senior Engineer, Networking is responsible for the successful implementation and operation the clients network enterprise wide. This role works closely with the Principal Engineer on network architecture, design, and implementation to ensure a robust and scalable network to meet the clients ever-changing technology landscape. The Senior Network Engineer also works with less experienced network engineers to train them as required to ensure they can also assist with the ongoing maintenance of the network.This role will oversee and manage all aspects of the clients network infrastructure including but not limited to: -

• Corporate Office Networking including LAN, WLAN and WAN
• Datacenter Networking Technologies
• Datacenter Storage Area Networking
• Network Security Technologies Enterprise Wide
• Public Cloud Networking in AWS
• Third party connectivity, VPNs etc

REQUIREMENTS:

• Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ISR, MDS, UCS lines of equipment
• Solid knowledge of Cisco ACI and experience managing and implementing APIC; This includes L3outs, contracts, bridge domains, EPGs, switch profiles, etc.
• Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama Configuration for all aspects of security policies, application filters, security profiles, URL Filtering, SSL Decryption, Site-to-Site VPN and Globalprotect VPN configurations; Extensive knowledges of device-groups and templates also required
• Maintenance of Cisco ISE for creation and enforcement of security policies across the network more typically relating to identify management - AAA, TACACS+
• Advanced administration of F5 BIG IP; This includes F5 Networking, LTM virtual server creation, web redirects, SSL certification management, iRules, advanced load balancing, advanced health monitors, security configurations on AFM, F5 network, VCMP, etc.
• Troubleshooting application flows with app developers, good understanding on how to use TCPDUMP and Wireshark in order to troubleshoot problems
• Coordinating and implementing public and private SSL certificates for infrastructure and public facing devices/websites
• Good knowledge of VMware Networking and Cisco UCSM and know how to troubleshoot the network and storage connectivity with the Fabric Interconnects
• Management and maintenance of Cisco UC environment; This includes Cisco Voice server/applications - CUCM, Unity, voice gateway, Cube, SIP circuits, POTS lines, DIDs, etc.
• Responsible for Management and Maintenance both internal and external DNS including all A records, CNAMEs, MX records, SPF, etc.
