Summary
Walmart US Finance team is seeking a bright, talented, and self-motivated senior manager to support the Financial Services team. Financial Services is a key component in Walmart's strategic flywheel, with a mission to provide an omni-channel product suite supporting financial inclusion for all, regardless of life stage. In this role, you will influence business decisions to improve the Financial Services offering and financial performance of this business area.

You are a proven problem solver with high intellectual curiosity and strong analytical & financial modeling abilities
You know financial planning inside and out and are familiar with building financial models
You have excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
You are data savvy and comfortable pulling data using SQL to conduct analysis, and experience with analytics software
You demonstrate high level capabilities in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
You have experience with Financial Services, Credit Cards or Banking industries
You will make an impact by performing the following duties:
Decision Support: Evaluate business decisions and help management make appropriate decisions, balancing customer experience, and impact to sales growth and profitability. Develop and leverage internal and external networks to maximize the achievement of business goals. Research and understand business processes to find more effective and efficient opportunities.
Business Partnering: Interact regularly with senior management teams to help them define and enable business strategies. Learn about the business and respond to requests, asking the right questions to determine what data is really needed. Partner with management to continuously improve business decisions and results as well as improve the quality of data on which decisions are made.
Leadership: This position will require strong leadership and influence skills. Develop, implement, and improve new and existing financial processes. The ability to jump in and help in a wide variety of projects and programs is required.
Analysis: Analyze financial performance to prepare and present financial summaries. Establish and communicate information about financial targets; identify and report risk to the financial plan; provide actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years' experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 3 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area
1 year of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
