ECS is seeking a Senior Java Programmer to work in our Albuquerque, NM office.

Job Description:
ECS is looking for a Senior Java Programmer, providing support for a major national laboratory in Albuquerque, NM!

As a Senior Java Programmer, you will be working with the Research and Development team. This team develops and supports, agile, integrated, process-based software solutions that enable a world class national laboratory to achieve its business and mission objectives, with focus on the health and safety of the employees, and protection of the environment, while complying with regulatory and other requirements effectively and efficiently.

DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITES/TASKS INCLUDE:

• Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts.
• Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
• Translate detailed design into computer software.
• Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product.
• Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
• Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
• Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
• Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale database management systems and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives.

Required Skills:

• Candidate must have a BS/BA and 8 years of experience as a full-stack software development experience using Java
• Candidate can start uncleared and work remotely.

Desired Skills:

• Webdose experience.
