Title: Senior Director, Nemolizumab Consumer Marketing

Location: Boston

As our new Senior Director, US Nemolizumab Consumer Marketing will lead a team of marketing professionals with responsibility for the go-to marketing strategy, messaging and tactics directed to patients in preparation of launching Galderma's novel biologic with two anticipated indications-prurigo nodularis and atopic dermatitis. The Consumer Marketing lead will be responsible for building a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Omnichannel Marketing plan for Nemolizumab in this competitive category with high patient demand and potential. Nemolizumab will be one of the largest contributors to the prescription business to ensure long-term corporate maximized lifetime revenue. This senior director will partner directly with the Senior Directors of marketing for prurigo nodularis and atopic dermatitis, global marketing team and US cross functional marketing team, market access, patient services, business analytics and other partners to ensure executional best practices are pulled through in developing the national promotional plan for the US. It will be imperative to develop advanced capabilities to reach consumers and engage patients in need to demand Nemolizumab and be best prepared to discuss with their HCPs. This role is reporting directly to the VP, US Head of Marketing, Prescription Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the patient strategy across Nemolizumab for all indications and ensure appropriate resource allocation to maximize the asset with responsibility for delivering the brand P&L
  • Develop the DTC patient omnichannel media plan and go-to-market strategy to maximize opportunity by leading and collaborating with key functions across Galderma (clinical, medial, regulatory, product supply, Insights and Analytics)
  • Oversee budget, resourcing, forecasting, planning and establish metrics and track patient program effectiveness and ROI across all investments
  • Partner as a key contributor to the Nemolizumab lifecycle management activities to ensure appropriate clinical and medical plans are developed with compelling data to increase opportunity with new patient cohorts
  • Oversee the identification of patient insights, turning them into a clear brand story and developing actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the brand
  • Oversee the unique positioning, messaging, brand architecture HCPs including co-positioning of two indications--prurigo nodularis and atopic dermatitis-- to create integrated and compelling campaigns that drive action and activation
  • Oversee patient engagement plans and patient services marketing for easy and seamless onboarding as well as loyalty and adherence programs
  • Lead marketing capabilities including ownership of the agency of record partnership for both creative and media planning and execution
  • Build, attract, recruit and oversee a high performing team to support the launch
  • Identify new capabilities and functions to help grow and expand market leadership and create a competitive advantage
  • Presentation to senior leadership to provide confidence in launch strategy, measurement and ongoing optimization post-launch to drive maximized profile

Minimum Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including US marketing
  • Notable brand consumer strategy leadership experience required
  • Media and multichannel media planning required
  • Launch experience preferred
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with regulatory/material approval process
  • Strong ability to translate science into commercial strategies
  • Cross-functional experience required, proven track record of collaboration and coordination with key internal and external stakeholders (including external agency partners)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills: ability to articulate a point of view succinctly and effectively to senior leaders and external customers
  • Comprehensive analytical/strategic thinking skills; demonstrated ability to utilize data in fact-based decision-making (data to insights, to action).
  • Availability to travel >20% time
