We're searching for a Senior Director, HR Business Partnerships to deliver world-class global Human Resources support. When you join us, you will partner with executive leaders across our North America business, including co-founder Matt Kalish, to establish innovative and scalable processes to support business expansion and integration across DraftKings North America when you join us. In the spirit of "One HR," you'll collaborate with all Human Resources functions to deliver results, including HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Organization Effectiveness, People Operations, and Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging. What you'll do as a Senior Director, HR Business Partnerships:

  • Build, lead and scale a top-performing HR Business Partner team in partnership with regional HRBP's and COE colleagues.
  • In partnership with executive business leaders, Identify and advise on opportunities, risks, and trends related to domestic and international expansion.
  • Partner with a virtual and extended team to ensure programs are delivered consistently across the globe and comply with regional and local processes and policies.
  • Use data to inform recommendations and decisions. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses for strategic Human Resources planning and execution.
  • Develop and lead cultural assessments in partnership with local teams and leaders to identify critical areas for consideration specific to cultural integration.
  • Continuously innovate and improve processes and tools with cross-functional partners to ensure a seamless, repeatable, and scalable experience for partners.
  • You may have some Mergers & Acquisitions experience integrating acquired teams into an organization and managing programs to support international growth. If not, you are eager to learn.
What you'll bring:
  • You know the organizations we support (mission, culture, vision, strategy & goals) and understand macro and external practices to interpret and anticipate trends.
  • Extensive knowledge of talent management, org design, change management, and global business practices to help the business and your team deliver results.
  • Successful track record leading complex projects involving multiple teams through consensus building, problem resolution, and continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, ambiguous environment with quick deadlines.
  • Capable of maintaining composure under intense pressure. Your leadership style is collaborative, transparent, and candid.
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication style and skilled at developing impactful communications strategy and execution.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and experience applying various methodologies or practices to address business issues, Human Resources needs, employee engagement, and assess processes.
  • Comfort in collaborating with senior management and executive leadership.
  • Flexibility for occasional business travel required.
