This role is based out of our Seattle office but is 100% remote in the U.S. as needed.

Job Summary:

We're looking to add a Senior DevOps Engineer to our team who wants to have a big impact shaping an innovative and meaningful B2B SaaS solution that helps customers have more meaningful conversations. In this role, you'll be a central part of a team that is passionate about systems thinking, amplifying feedback loops, and continual experimentation and learning. You will work alongside multi-functional teams, automating cloud operations, crafting tools, improving CI/CD pipelines, evangelizing cloud technologies internally, and assisting development teams with their monitoring/alerting/response processes.

What you'll be doing:

In any given week you'll managing priorities such as:

  • Building infrastructure to power new services or expand existing ones
  • Building capabilities that shorten MTTR for code shipment
  • Improving methodologies for managing and monitoring our cloud infrastructure (we use and love AWS)
  • Diving into an app's behavior with our Application Development Team
  • Pioneering the use of a new feature of our cloud environment
  • Improving existing DevOps practices

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
  • 4+ years knowledge in one or more mainstream programming languages and mainstream development tools
  • 4+ years knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Docker and container management
  • Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, SIP, SMPP, Kamailio
  • Intermediate experience with Python, Bash
  • You have experience in Information Security practices and principles
  • A good understanding of a configuration management (we use Ansible and CloudFormation)
  • Strong skills with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networking
