Description

Design tooling to manufacture, repair, and assemble aircraft parts and other products (new development) Create drawings from 3D Models in accordance with ASME standards Reverse engineer parts using standard Machine Shop Inspection tool and equipment to fill in missing or incorrect data in drawings and loft Manage projects and coordinate all procurements and fabrication to meet the program cost and schedule requirements Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes (ISO9001, AS9100D, and NADCAP) Support continuous improvement Write detailed build, assembly, inspection, and production instructions to assist the production team Identify root cause and corrective action (RCCA) for discrepancies and deficiency Utilize the lean manufacturing approach to make the manufacturing process more efficient Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education/Training (both required and desired):
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
    
    
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Experience with NX and/or SolidWorks and the ability to Model complex, lofted aerospace parts is preferred
  • Experience with additive manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of Composite tooling design, manufacturing processes and materials selection
  • Experience in Machining, manufacturing or inspections a plus
• Security:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
