Summary:
Provides advanced IT support to the Medication Management Informatics team. This position will utilize various programming techniques working directly with a Clinical Informatics Pharmacist to advance patient safety and expedite pharmaceutical services. This position also provides leadership and coordination of IT department teams and project teams; organizes and executes projects; participates in vendor evaluation and system implementation activities; works directly with business owners and IT team members to assess and document business processes, requirements and recommend process improvements; directs systems testing activities; provides direction and mentorship to lower level business systems analysts; supports the IT needs of various business units while ensuring that the technology solutions and systems align with the needs and objectives of the business and organization.

Starting salary for this position is $88,161 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

Associate's degree and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience utilizing, working with or supporting information systems.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have prior experience maintaining and programming clinical software applications, they will also have experience working with Arden Syntax, SQL and HL7, working knowledge of Allscripts Sunrise configuration including order set build documentation and configuration tools, understanding of information security best practices, experience with test plans, prior technical writing experience and experience in requirements gathering.
