The Senior Auditor leads preparation of department reporting and communication of Internal Audit insight through monitoring of Bank activities and analysis of emerging risks / issues. This role is also responsible for assurance and operational activities of the department by managing the department's issue processing activities, performing audit planning and facilitating quality assurance and improvement program activities as well as managing the department's budget and record management activities.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end.
  • Cost effective acquisition, management and utilization of resources.
  • Develop and execute audit programs covering information processing systems to evaluate the adequacy of controls.
  • Develop and execute audit programs in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Bank/department policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute audit programs to assess the design and/or development of system development projects and ensure the ability of the proposed system to effectively manage the environment for which it is intended, and propose recommendations, as necessary.
  • Performs internal quality assessments and coordinates external quality assurance reviews.
  • Prepare accurate audit work papers in a timely manner that use sufficient evidential matter to document and support the results of audit tests performed.
  • Support data analytics and continuous auditing program.
  • Support preparation of the annual audit plan.
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience required, audit experience preferred.
  • CPA and/or CIA designations or actively working towards certification.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • IT Audit and Integrated Audit skills and experience is a plus.
  • SOX testing experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong hands-on data analytics and continuous auditing experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of control principles/framework (COSO) is required.
  • Big4 audit experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree required (Accounting for Finance major preferred).

Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00

This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.
