RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, one of the best and largest real estate companies in the world, is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in New York, New York (NY). Work schedule will be the rare hybrid work schedule in the industry - with 2-3 days per week work from home. Responsibilities include:- General ledger
- The Senior Accountant will prepare financial statements, journal entries, and work papers
- US GAAP
- Support audit
- The Senior Accountant will be reporting to internal and external parties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must; Advanced degree a plus
- CPA a plus
- 3 years or more of Accounting or Audit experience
- Real estate industry experience a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
