Senior Accountant

Our client, a service company in the energy and utilities space, is seeking a Senior Accountant on a contract to full time basis. In this Senior Accountant role, job duties include preparing monthly financial statements, monthly reconciliation, accounts receivable ledger to general ledger, research and reconcile variances and perform financial statement review and analysis. In this Senior Accountant, prospective candidate will also review payables and receivables and reconcile to the ledger.

Job duties:

• Reconciles accounts under the direction of the Accounting Manager.
• Provides input in developing new financial processes and controls
• Ask difficult questions regarding existing processes, provides additional clarity when needed
• Develop a strong understanding of the relationship between Salesforce and NetSuite software.
• Provide backup, as needed, to various billing and cash application processes or other areas

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the accounting field
• Ability to work with deadlines, and multitask
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
• Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, or other complex ERP system is required
