Attindas Hygiene Partners designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products. The company sells adult incontinence and infant diapers, among other products, into the healthcare, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels under brands including Attends, Indas, and Comfees as well as a wide range of private label brands for retailers.

Attindas' Incontinence Supplier,Home Delivery Incontinent Supplies Co. (HDIS) located in St. Louisis looking a Senior Accountant to join the team!

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will contribute to the financial integrity and efficiency of our organization. This will include performing various general accounting entries, preparation of month end, and maintaining account reconciliations on various key balance sheet accounts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and control accounting systems used for company accounting and financial reporting.
  • Ensure that a closing procedure is in place, the month end close is in line with the parent company reporting calendar and that all journal entries and adjustments are explained and documented.
  • Monitor and reconcile the local books of record with the parent company financial statements, noting any reporting differences.
  • Maintain general accounting policies and procedures coordinating with parent company when necessary. Keep the company informed of procedures and proper controls to follow.
  • Make recommendation for continuous process improvements to maximize efficiency in financial reporting and operations.
  • Implement procedures and processes to ensure that an appropriate level of quality control and management review is in place and that the published financial reports are accurate.
  • Oversee and manage the analysis of key balance sheet accounts and that such accounts are reconciled timely to underlying supporting documentation.
  • Oversight of all fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules. Reconcile all bank accounts.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process
  • Assist to analyze financial results against budget
  • Prepare account reconciliations (banks/credit cards, balance sheet, and profit & loss accounts)
  • Researches and proposed resolution for discrepancies
Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of full cycle accounting
  • Proven ability to take ownership, work independently, and manage requests
  • Must possess strong time management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience in Acumatica ERP, not required
  • CPA/CMA Certification
