RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Louisville, KY that is seeking a Security Consultant skilled in vendor negotiation. In this role, the Security Consultant will be working within the security teams to build relationships and negotiate information security terms within the contracts.REQUIREMENTS:
- IT background and knowledge in security and experience in contract management
- Solid project coordination skills - this position is primarily a non-technical role but requires technical experience to facilitate
- Outstanding presentation skills and ability to speak confidently to -C- level audience
- Experience designing repeatable processes
- Contract negotiation skills
- Healthcare and insurance industry preferable
- Senior level IT leadership experience preferred
- Information Security auditee or auditor background is preferable
- Information Security preferable
- Information Security framework experience preferable - HITRUST, NIST, HIPAA, ISO, PCI, etc.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
