SCRUM DELIVERY LEAD | REMOTE

The Select Group is seeking a banking-experienced Scrum Delivery Lead to join one of our top financial partners. This person will be aligned with the Technology Operations vertical of the Corporate Technology business unit. On this team, you will be responsible for partnering with application owners within the business unit to facilitate completion of non-project work. This ensures application owners can focus on completing objectives on project-work in a timely manner. Your specific focus areas will be primarily as a Scrum Master and Delivery Lead.

POSITION: Scrum Delivery Lead

EXPECTED DURATION: 12-month contract (open to extensions)

LOCATION: Remote (EST hours)

START DATE: ASAP

SCRUM DELIVERY LEAD - REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of Project Management/Scrum Master experience.
  • Delivery and Managing Technology Operations.
  • Large Financial Institution experience.
  • Experience in managing Agile boards.
  • Exceptional Conflict Resolution skills
  • Strong spoken and written communicator.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Strong experience in using the below tools:
  • MS Office applications (i.e.: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint)
  • Visualization software (i.e.: Tableau, MS Power BI, MS Visio)
  • Work tracking tools (i.e.: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence)
SCRUM DELIVERY LEAD - RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain and manage the team's JIRA or Azure DevOps instance used to track work performed by team.
  • Run and manage the scrum team along with maintaining the Agile boards.
  • Coordinate team efforts on assigned tasks effectively, ensuring prioritization, resource bandwidth, timelines, and parallel efforts are all accounted for.
  • Explore, understand, visualize, and explain complex process flows.
  • Drive and track our business unit's participation in compliance initiatives from start to finish.
  • Create and present visualizations and high-level presentations for our senior leaders to consume and cascade to their reports.
  • Recommend and drive the implementation of process improvements.
  • Remove impediments and help the team to become self-organizing and empowered to create, innovate, and make decisions for themselves as one team.
  • Perform technical analysis on metrics captured for the business unit as a whole as needed.
  • Accountable for delivering recurring reports for Run the Bank (RtB) tasks.
