ECS is seeking a Scheduler to work in our Arlington, VA office.

Job Description:

  • This position will be on a Scheduling team for a large DOD business system. Candidate will interface with key Program Office stakeholders, Working Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs) and System Integrator (SI) to maintain the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS/IMP) and provide recommendations on ways to resolve schedule conflicts and mitigate schedule risk.
  • Develop and maintain the Program IMS utilizing MS Project.
  • Develop and manage schedules that effectively communicate to all levels of the project team and stakeholders.
  • Provide assessment and analysis of the IMS.
  • Maintain metrics using MS Excel reporting.
  • Collaborate and interface with system contractors and all external stakeholders to review and provide comments to their respective schedules
  • The ability to work independently or within small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects
  • Strong verbal communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of schedule management best practices such as critical path methodology, schedule quality, and schedule execution metrics

Required Skills:
  • Must have a Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in a related field
    • and 2 to 5 years related experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and hands-on experience MS Project
  • Strong verbal and written skills

Desired Skills:
  • Project Management experience
