Description

The SALT Senior Financial Analytics Professional is the primary analyst for all shipping and logistics spend at Humana Pharmacy. The professional collates, models, interprets and analyzes data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends in shipping and logistics spend. Explains variances and trends and enhances modeling techniques. May possess financial or actuarial background. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities

The SALT Senior Financial Analytics Professional is the primary analyst for all shipping and logistics spend at Humana Pharmacy. The professional collates, models, interprets and analyzes data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends in shipping and logistics spend. Provides guidance on HP shipping budget, oversight to data and spend feeds, and identifies savings opportunities for pharmacy operations. Manages vendor relationships ensuring all carrier invoices are paid and billing issues are resolved promptly without exception. Responsible for HP postage reporting - gathering requirements, building report models, and establishing organizational standards (single source of truth) for the multitude of customers that rely on the data (MT, Finance, Accounting, Operations, SALT, etc). Explains variances and trends and enhances modeling techniques. Builds out adhoc reports for various internal/external entities. Builds, documents, and preserves all documentation regarding shipping finance/procurement processes. Provides ROI guidance on project initiatives. Aids in strategic planning initiatives. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends
  • Must be able to explain variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques
  • Experience working with moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Financial or actuarial background
  • Project Management Certification
