Salesforce Developer I or II (DOE)

Telecommute Option - Must reside in ID, OR, UT or WA

WHO WE NEED

The role of Salesforce Developer I or II continually improves and enhances our Salesforce platform under the guidance of experienced Salesforce engineers. This role will work on a variety of Salesforce technologies including but not limited to Lightning Web Components (LWC), CSS, JavaScript, HTML 5, Einstein Bots and REST API integrations. This position comes with an opportunity to learn and grow as a developer learning best practices from the team in highly regulated industry.

Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed below

The Salesforce Developer I would have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant experience in a multi-platform environment, including, but not limited to application development
  • Experience will typically include significant involvement or exposure with Salesforce
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Key Experience:
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
  • Experience with Copado (or any other) DevOps platform.
  • Experience in building apps with Digital Experience Platform.

YOUR ROLE:
  • 0-3 years of Salesforce development and configuration experience with at least one or more of the following modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce Communities, Salesforce Knowledge.
  • Experience in developing Apex classes, triggers, custom objects, Lightning Flows, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC) and Visualforce pages.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Security model (Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce deployment process and usage of DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA.
  • Emphasis on adhering to coding best practices and Salesforce platform limits.
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile environment and manage task assignments.
  • Ability to present ideas and technical concepts in a business-friendly language.

WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Develop Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Apex (classes and triggers), VisualForce pages according to business requirements.
  • Integrate Salesforce platform with other applications/systems via real time or batch using API or third-party apps.
  • Build Salesforce solutions on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Ability to effectively debug and resolve issues reported during quality checks or defects in production system.
  • Work with senior development staff to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
  • Support Salesforce Administrator team on occasion to provide general guidance including but not limited to validation rules, formula fields, data export and basic coding inquiries.
  • Participate in daily standups, analyze user stories and document technical approach as needed.

All position compensations are determined on experience and equity

The base pay annual salary range is: SWE I - 76k-123.5k / SWE II - 83.5k-136k

The bonus target for this position is SWE I =10% / SWE II = 15%
