Job Description

Position Summary:

At Eurofins, client relationships are our top priority. We're looking for a dedicated and personable Sales Support Specialist to address client support needs through web-based and direct sales channels. The goal of the role is to provide excellent interactions that provide value to the customer in the most expedient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take primary responsibility for a Sales Support Specialist portal to rapidly answer questions in sales territories needing support.
  • Assist with contract database submissions and extraction as needed by Business Development Managers and Account Managers
  • Assist with Pricing Agreement logistics with Client Service Teams and individual Business Development and Account Managers
  • CRM maintenance and dashboard upkeep
  • Facilitate pulling analytical data for the BDs and AMs
  • Consolidate sales team information regarding opportunity pipelines and marketing activity needs.
  • Manage email campaigns in sales territories needing support.
  • Works closely with internal technical teams and client services to present our offering and close business, set up pricing and invoicing terms.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Keep the CRM up to date by monitoring accuracy and utilizing it appropriately for account management and business forecasting.
  • Track the change in the organization as the customer's staff changes or acquisition occurs for each account. Follow the moves and work with territory Business Development and Account Managers to provide contacts for them to pursue new business if pertinent.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work to push transactional sales to web-based ordering through customer education and monitoring.
  • Complete expense reports as per policy

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

Education/Experience (BMQ):
  • Bachelor's degree
Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and other web-based applications
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of and the ability to master Sales tools such as CRM programs (e.g. Salesforce.com)
  • Customer-centric behavior
  • Ability to work well in a team environment but also capable of working independently
  • Ability to partner effectively as part of a team to solve problems, negotiate solutions, and reach a consensus
  • Valid driver's license
Additional Preferences (Other Factors):
  • Authorization to work in the hiring country indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • May have occasional travel (< 10%)
