KOCH Finishing Systems, a leading provider of turnkey automated plating and anodizing finishing systems, is expanding its team. We are currently hiring a Sales Account Managers to drive growth in the North America region. Join us in providing innovative solutions to the aerospace, defense, agriculture, appliance, automotive, building products, and general industry sectors. As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in meeting annual booking targets and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer needs, identifying bottlenecks in current processing systems, and accurately scoping potential system solutions.
  • Coordinate field activities during the sales process and maintain positive customer rapport, reflecting KOCH's core values.
  • Collaborate with estimating, purchasing, project managers, and engineering teams to capture opportunities and identify solutions.
  • Develop and execute effective sales penetration plans for assigned accounts and market sectors.
  • Travel to customer sites to promote company capabilities, determine project feasibility, and participate in contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering degree preferred) and/or business management, sales, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of successful experience in strategic selling and negotiation skills in solution and systems sales of capital equipment or industrial automation.
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of plating and anodizing processing preferred.
  • Demonstrated account management skills.
  • Proven customer service practices leading to building long-term relationships.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ideal candidates must be able to report to our office in Rochester Hills, MI.
  • Remote candidates may be considered but must reside near a major airport.
