Position Summary:

The operating room registered nurse in the ambulatory surgery center practices utilizing the nursing process, as defined by the Maryland Nurse Practice Act, and participates as an integral part of the interdisciplinary health care team in providing the highest quality of care to the patient.

Education:

AA degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required.

Work Experience:

Two years operating room nursing experience preferred

Required Licensure, Certification:

Registered nurse licensure in the state of Maryland, Current CPR certification, ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support or PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support.



Shift:

Day shift, PRN

1-days with variations in shift hours

2-for days worked primary M-F with some Saturday Rotation

8:00 am - 4:30 pm
