LexisNexis Encore (Return to Work) Program:

In today's world, successful careers are fluid and often do not follow a traditional path. The LexisNexis Encore program is an opportunity to re-engage. During the 14-week paid internship, participants will join roles and teams that complement their skills and experience. With 1:1 mentoring, skills-enhancing workshops, and leadership networking opportunities, this program eases the often challenging and stressful transition back into the workforce. Upon successful completion of the Encore program, participants will be evaluated for a permanent role at LexisNexis.

*In order to qualify for the Encore program, you must have been out of the fulltime workforce for a minimum of 2 years*

About the role:

Makes outbound sales contact (including cold calling) to prospects and sees them through the sales cycle to close

Identifies and qualifies prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems

May have an individual sales quota and is likely to have a target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunity

General Profile - Works with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, selling new business accounts. Has direct contact with clients and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms Continues to build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market or account needs

Business Expertise: Interprets internal/external business issues and applies them to own role Leadership: No supervisory responsibilities

Problem Solving: Develops competence by performing structured work assignments

Knowledge of State and Local Government and Legal Industry helpful
