RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's DegreeORHigh School Diploma or Equivalency and 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid Driver license - ability to drive organizational vehicle
• Act 33/34/73 clearances to be updated every 60 months

SCHEDULE:

Wednesday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Friday:7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

ABOUT THE ROLE

OurResidential CareAdvisorsprovide assistance and training to adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Serious Mental Illness in a Personal Care Home setting. We're looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. At Outlook Manor you will be joining a close-knit team of professionals who work to support the needs of a community of 12 adults with severe and persistent mental illness ina family-style residential setting. Some of our residents have co-occuring medical and sensory needs which are supported by the home's staff.

ABOUT YOU

In any given day, you might cook, clean, bathe, manage medications, take residents to appointments, interact with family members or providers, and design games and crafts. We specialize in meeting our residents where they are at. Some of our residents need full assistance with showering and toileting, however no lifting or transferring of residents is required. Others simply need prompting and encouragement to complete their ADLs and enjoy a rich social life. We're looking for employees who are professional, flexible, compassionate, and can remain composed in stressful situations.
