Job Description Summary
The Ritchie Lab is recruiting a Research Specialist A to participate as a collaborator and research assistant in research projects ongoing in the lab. The expectation is that the person in this role will participate in the research projects, but not necessarily lead the project. Tasks will include data management and data cleaning, evaluating descriptive statistics for genomic and phenotypic datasets, performing association analyses, creating tables and figures, and exploring different data visualization tools. Participation in the drafting of manuscripts to report the results of the research is also an aspect of this position - though this person will not be expected to write the entire manuscript. This is an entry level research position to learn how to perform computational genomics and biomedical informatics research.

Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year Bioinformatics, computer science or Statistic perferred
