The Titan Formwork Systems office is located in Tempe, AZ.

PrimaryResponsibilities

• Complete mechanical design for new products including beams, shores, casting, CNC, sheet metal, etc.
• Design products for fitment, load/weight requirements, environmental variables, corrosion, and usability.
• Coordinate and communicate on local prototyping with local fabricators, purchasers, and suppliers.
• Perform in-field testing, often outdoors, completing destructive load testing of components using 10,000 LBS or more hydraulics.
• Update and maintain controlled documents and drawings specific to supplier feedback and in-house drawing practices.
• Complete drawing work in assemblies with over 10 drawings per product.
• Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree or 4+ years of design and fabrication experience supporting similar job responsibilities.
• Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including technical writing skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable working in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material.
• General knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles.
• Hands on fabrication and additive manufacturing experience.
• Fluent in SOLIDWORKS, including simulation.

Preferred Qualifications

• SOLIDWORKS Certifications.
• Construction experience.
• Portfolio of designs.
