MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking a Reporting Analystto join our growing corporate finance and accounting team in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This individual will be responsible for the consolidation of financial performance data and central budget processes.

The successful candidate will have extensive reporting/Excel skills and the curiosity to make appropriate challenges to the data. You will have the ability to analyze and interrogate the data and have a laser eye for detail. You will consolidate, ensure accuracy, and spot trends and insights in data from our various systems.

The desired candidate will also have some experience analyzing business data. You will be analytical with the ability to review large sets of data to identify trends and opportunities. You will be an effective communicator, able to pivot between shops and corporate. You will be a completer and finisher. When you join our team, you join the MCA family!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
  • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
  • Identifying trends in data, developing hypotheses about causes, and recommending solutions to improve performance
  • Reviewing audit results to ensure that they are accurate, complete, and comply with industry standards

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis or related field
  • One to two years of experience as a financial or reporting analyst
  • Stellar business acumen with strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with financial statements
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment
  • Proven analytical and project management skills
  • Proficient use of various software, and advanced use of Excel
  • Ability to perform highly detailed work
  • BI experience a plus
  • Financial and Operational KPI experience a plus
