Relief EMERGENCY (ER) VETERINARIAN POSITION

VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado, located in Loveland, CO, is looking for a Relief Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado (VSNC) is AAHA accredited hospital with access to emergency services 24/7. We are a busy, well-supported 24-hour specialty and ER hospital with a rapidly increasing caseload that supports further coverage. We offer multiple specialties and services (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Anesthesia, and Physical Rehabilitation). Our hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography, brand new (ER use only) GE Versana Active patient-side ultrasound machine, CT, MRI, in-house laboratory equipment, and point of care cytology.

Emergency Veterinarian opportunities

What we are looking for:

· Friendly, energetic, fast-moving, independent/quick-thinking licensed emergency veterinarian is a must

· Internship including emergency medicine or a minimum 1-2 years' experience in a busy emergency practice

· Some ultrasound experience is preferred but not a requirement

· Comfortable with minor soft tissue surgery
