• Provide technical guidance to the organization to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements
• Ability to conduct waste management and other facility inspections
• Reclamation Surveys
• Interim Reclamation management and tracking
• Annual Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Inspections
• Management of Written Orders, Notice of Violation (NOV) and Incident of Non-Compliance (INC) resolutions
• Conduct baseline soil & water sampling for pre-construction
• Navigation of state and federal databases for due diligence requirements
• BHT/MIT testing and compliance management
• Abandonment compliance paperwork
• Ensure accurate site security diagrams
• Produced Water Disposal (PWD) paperwork management
• Work closely with field operations and asset team to communicate and fi nd solutions to ensure regulatory environmental compliance.
• Communicate regulatory and environmental requirements and technical solutions on drilling, completion, recompletion,plugging, facilities, commingling and inactive wells.
• Work closely with regulatory agencies to assure compliance goals are met. Specifically, Inspection & Enforcement from BLM and NMOCD
• Participate in onsite due diligence reviews related to the acquisition and divestiture of properties.
• Knowledge of State/Federal regulatory agencies and applicable regulations as needed to ensure compliance for regulatory and environmental permitting and execution
• Archiving well files compliance paperwork

Skills / Qualifications

• Participates in onsite meetings with industry and agency and 50% travel to SE New Mexico for field visits

• QA/QC facilities diagrams for site security standards and approval
• Anticipates and proactively reacts to mitigate problems in regulatory and environmental framework
• Provide guidance for monthly, quarterly and annual testing processes, such as MIT, bradenhead and any/all other field equipment as required by regulatory agencies
• Bi-annual Reclamation survey and management of required re-vegetation
• Manage interim reclamation projects
• Coordinate plug and abandonment paperwork and manage location reclamation

-Travel to Carlsbad

Minimum Qualifications:
• Knowledge of State/Federal regulatory agencies and applicable regulations to ensure compliance for regulatory-permitting and execution
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Excellent leadership qualities and competencies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
• Knowledge of field operations
• Demonstrates understanding of required businesses processes, environmental requirements, and regulatory requirements
• Promotes and encourages regulatory and environmental awareness and compliance
