Description:

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually.Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.

MacNeal Hospital's Cardiac Telemetry department is a 25-bed unit that routinely cares for patients with complex medical conditions. Our unit specializes in angina, syncope, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and pre/post cardiac intervention. Cardiac Telemetry Nurses are trained in performing EKG's, interpreting cardiac rhythms, administration of IV cardiac medications, phlebotomy, and certified in ACLS.

MacNeal nurses participate in shared governance and are active in practice-related decision making that influence their daily work. Our nurses are empowered to make meaningful changes to process and policy to positively impact patient outcomes and their work environment. Furthermore, we foster an environment of professional growth through continued education opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and support for nursing specialty certification.
