The energetic and dynamic nursing team provides high quality, patient centered care for those who do not require critical care nursing, but who have complex cardiovascular conditions. These patients commonly have the diagnoses of CHF, ACS, AMI, dysrhythmia, or syncope.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Provides nursing care
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Certification and Licensure

• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License
