ADP is hiring a Regional Sales Leader. In this position, you'll provide direction, development and leadership to achieve regional sales goals and implement strategic plan objectives at the regional field level.

This is a full-time, high-activity role that will require you to manage 7-9 strategic individual contributors. ADP provides sales resources and executive mentorship to help you achieve monthly and quarterly goals, with opportunities for increased compensation and career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a sales plan with strategies and tactics to achieve regional sales objectives.
  • Execute on national and regional campaign initiatives; design and execute team initiatives to build sufficient sales funnel to outperform results expectations.
  • Partner with internal leadership counterparts to influence and grow sales lead flow.
  • Monitor progress against the sales plan and adjust as needed.
  • Lead a team of passionate, enthusiastic and a successful sales reps.
  • Provide coaching and strategy support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales associates.
  • Manage complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, value management, bid management, executive sponsorship, marketing and sales support.
  • Provide oversight for the sales administration process.
  • Motivate employees to reach high standards of performance by encouraging and recognizing diligence, dedication and achievement of goals.
  • Provide career development for employees through direct performance feedback and coaching.
  • Devise strategy for succession planning.
  • Serve as sales and marketing authority on Regional Management Team and represent ADP to customers, prospects and business community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key networks within assigned geography to help drive partnerships and increase sales within respective Business Unit.
  • Collaborate with various internal cross-functional groups as needed to support current and prospective clients.
  • Implement value-selling processes alongside a wealth of knowledge of ADP's Strategic product offerings.
  • Leverage your experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with customers and executive sponsors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years managing high performing teams.
  • Track record of achieving profitable sales, retention of clients and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position ADP.
  • History of cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances.
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize on sales opportunities.
  • Empathy and high EQ to do it the "right" way.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
