Your Role

Responsible to direct all Quality Assurance and Quality Control topics for the combined Milwaukee and Sheboygan sites. Work through a team of managers and approximately 120 employees to ensure alignment with relevant Quality-related regulations, applicable standards and policies, to ensure we deliver to our market needs and commitments.

  • Directs the quality focused departments under the Site Director according to the strategic direction of the business ensuring quality, productivity, service and safety of plans, programs, and activities. Determines and sets team priorities, and is accountable for the performances/results of own team against established goals.
  • Establishes, communicates, and monitors performance standards and provides feedback and mentoring to retain and develop current/future leaders and employees. Performs scheduled performance management activities.
  • Monitors resources, schedules, and organizational structure to effectively deliver on strategic key performance indicators. Resolves and maintains employee relations through effective communication.
  • Manages and delegates requirements to maintain performance of multiple strategic projects and timelines, with minimal supervision. Leads large scale, cross functional / cross site projects of diversified scope. Facilitates participation from direct reports with process improvement projects.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies, selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively negotiate within internal and external departments and businesses to achieve the best versus easiest/most popular outcomes.
  • Understands the interactions of functional departments, and drives necessary adjustments to drive strategic improvement.
  • Implement, monitor and continuously improve the QMS (Quality Management Systems) to ensure compliance to internal policies/procedures, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, Good Distribution Practices, and cGMP, where applicable.

Who You Are

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, other physical science or related major required.
  • Desirable: MS/PHD in science or engineering discipline or Masters of Business Administration.
  • Minimum - 10 years professional experience in a quality leadership or other applicable leadership role with experience in quality management systems supporting ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and/or cGMP (regulated) environment.
