The Quality Assurance Specialist is an entry-level position designed to prepare you for a fulfilling, lifelong career with Marsh McLennan Agency - Bouchard Region. This team provides agency-wide processing support to Commercial Lines insurance and Personal Lines insurance departments.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST:

PERSONAL LINES

• Develop a knowledge of carrier websites and navigation in order to extract documents and process changes
• Respond to requests for address and mortgagee changes, including providing evidence of coverage as needed
• Check policies for accuracy
• Manage daily tasks assigned by the service team such as mailing policies, endorsements, and refund checks to insured
• Update client information in database management system
• Manage notice of cancellation activities, including calling Mortgage Companies if necessary

COMMERCIAL LINES

• Manage electronic documents by identifying the document type and client and assigning the appropriate task
• Develop a knowledge of carrier websites and navigation in order to extract documents for processing and dispersal to the service teams
• Process daily tasks assigned by service teams such as checking policies, and endorsements for accuracy
• Process audits including preparing audit comparison for client
• Add clients and documents to client web portal
• Obtain loss history as requested by production team
• Process requests for certificates and evidence of property

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• College degree or some combination of education and comparable work experience preferred
• Currently hold, or be able to obtain with 90 days, a Florida 4-40 license and/or 2-20 license
• Intermediate computer skills including Word, Outlook & Excel
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to acquire and apply knowledge of Commercial or Personal insurance documents and coverages
