Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist plans and performs process and product audits and verifies that compliance for the distribution of printed materials or related services for the Company's customers has been met.

Position Details:

QA Specialist: Performs process and product audits to verify compliance for the distribution of printed materials for CSG's customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and random audits of manufacturing processes and product during and after the production processes
• Review production change notices for accuracy; confirming all materials listed are valid and accurate
• Confirm that USPS mailing guidelines are followed; scan barcodes for readability
• Ensure that all materials at machine are correct according to the work ticket
• Sample mail pieces for accuracy in accordance to work ticket
• Pull samples per job requirements
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1+ year experience in a direct mail/fulfillment environment preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Organization and prioritization
• Dependability, punctuality, deadline/ project management orientation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and general quality management concepts and approaches preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced, high stress environment with multiple deadlines
• PC/ Computer skills and experience with ERP Shop Floor software
• Knowledge and demonstration of quality skills, including but not limited to measurement, problem-solving, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action, internal audit, supplier management, and document control
• Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to balance business and customer needs when making day-to-day decisions
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to read, write and understand information presented in English; ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and be able to perform their job functions.
• Work in excess of a 40-hour week if necessary
