Job Responsibilities
Pennoni is currently seeking full-time and part-time Quality Assurance Inspectors, for off-site fabrication shops located in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and DELMARVA region producing bridge and highway products for transportation agencies with experience consistent, but not limited to:

• Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials
• Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications
• Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers
• Production of daily written shop report

 
Required Attributes: 

 

• Minimum Education: High School
• Minimum years of experience: 4-7
• Experience performing QA/QC of bridge fabrication
• Computer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Dependability, honesty and integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work well independently and with others
• Need reliable transportation

Preferred Attributes:

 
 

• Any/all of the following certifications:
  
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certification
    • Working knowledge of AWS D1.5
  • NACE or SSPC Certification
  • NDE/NDT Certification
