The Quality assistant is responsible for supporting the tracking of quality metrics for the Community Partners care management program at BHN. The Quality Assistant works closely with various departments to perform and validate reports and dashboards based on quality requirements.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Care Management program with the following:

  • Providing support to the program for quality assurance tasks and communication with stakeholders.
  • Managing and runs reports, analyzes, and interprets data and communicates reports to program management and other required staff.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborating with various teams and tracks items in progress.
  • Attending scheduled meetings and reports completed tasks back to management.
  • Maintaining entry of information into database for contracted vendor and other required programs.
  • Cross-referencing database records against reports received from EMR systems and stakeholders for accuracy.
  • Regularly checks database systems for changes and errors and makes corrections as needed, alerts supervisor and/or program management when errors are found and makes process recommendations to prevent errors.
  • Assisting supervisor and program management with special projects as needed.
  • Assisting in trouble shooting and problem solving as necessary.
  • Assisting in training Administrative Support Staff and Care Management Staff on how to access and use database systems as needed.

What are we looking for in a Quality Assistant?

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 years' experience working in customer service required.
  • Minimum 1 years' experience working in healthcare/insurance and data management required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Must have a working knowledge of program contract requirements.
  • Proficient use of EMR systems as well as Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Smartsheet.
  • Ability to be trained and develop proficiency in other software applications.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple agendas at one time.
  • Temperament is conducive to working in high demand and/or stressful environments.
  • Ability to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate reporting to program operations.
