SUMMARY

The Records Clerk is an entry-level position that will be responsible for managing and maintaining Quality Control and Aircraft Maintenance records according to regulatory requirements and Amerijet Company Policies. This position is responsible for tracking all department records. Log manual files, and ensure electronic files are accurate and complete. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn office equipment are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following, but not limited to:


  • Process and file component removals, to include updates on the computer system and time-controlled component records.
  • File Airworthiness Certificates/Repair Shop reports for serialized components (HT) in accordance with the ATA chapter and ETR number.
  • Process and file completed “A” checks and “C” checks executed paperwork, to include updates on the computer system.
  • Reviews and maintains aircraft Log Pages in numerical order, per aircraft registration.
  • Scanning all log pages and Work Orders in Imagio.
  • Organizing and keeping record boxes update.



    QUALIFICATIONS



    EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:


    • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.




    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:


    • Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel




    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum two (2) years’ experience using MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word.
    • At least one year of general office experience required.



    SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Computer literacy and numerical aptitude.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
    • Bilingual English-Spanish highly desired, but not necessary.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
