The Purchase Contract Analyst is responsible for managing Purchase Contracts and the cost management of the products included in vendor negotiated Customer Purchase Contracts, in compliance with department policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage Purchase Contracts typically negotiated between our customers and vendors direct.
  • Analyze requirements of each Purchase Contract
  • Communicate contractual requirements to necessary departments, validating reasonableness of volume and transportation details
  • Identify where contractual requirements conflict with Customer Agreement language
  • Perform Purchase Contract audits/reviews, requiring extensive knowledge of the company's costing policies and practices, within contractual deadlines
  • Perform Monthly valuation of processes to identify gains/losses related to Customer Purchase Contracts
  • Support the customer onboarding processes to ensure our cost of goods for Customer Purchase Contracts is accurate
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, utilizing experience to suggest means for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of relevant experience OR 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required: PowerBI and SQL server preferred
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and flexibility
  • Strong people skills with ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload utilizing various computer platforms/software applications
  • Ability to prioritize workload given various tasks with strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage input from multiple workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent research and reconciliation skills
