Basic Job Functions:
Verco Decking Inc. is seeking a qualified candidates a Punchlok Technician. Job responsibilities will include repairing, maintaining and performing routine preventive maintenance on Punchlok tools. Obtain and retain all maintenance records for the tools. Repair tools in a timely manner. Maintain and manage parts and shipping container inventory. Provide excellent customer service to all vendors, and customers both external and internal. Have strong communication skills, and work in a team environment. Responsible for ensuring the tools are ready for shipment, based on the agreed upon requirements with Punchlok Coordinator. Create weekly/monthly reporting to measure performance.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to use hand tools, pneumatic tools
- Able to read mechanical prints and manuals.
- Knowledge of basic pneumatic controls.
- Must have valid driver's license and insurable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Previous mechanical/maintenance experience
