We are looking for a skilled, licensed Psychologist. In this role you will be an integral part of our Children and Family Services Division and provide critical care to the youth and families at the Youth and Rehabilitation and Treatment Centers in Hastings, Kearney, and Lincoln.

Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIRED: Must be licensed to practice psychology in the state of Nebraska. A doctoral degree in psychology is required. Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Nebraska is preferred, but may have a provisional license as a Psychologist.

PREFERRED: Experience working with adolescents and families, particularly as it relates to behavioral/mental health disorders and/or substance use disorders and trauma.

Work schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, will also be required to work on-call rotation

Job duties

As a Psychologist you will:

• Review collateral clinical assessments and perform psychological evaluations and/or assessments of clinical need as necessary for residents of the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Centers in Hastings, Kearney, and Lincoln.

• Work directly with youth and/or their families for the provision of individual, family and group therapy services.

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

• May provide training for other Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center staff.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Knowledges of policies, procedures and practices governing clinical psychology; conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for diagnosis and proper treatment; administration of psychological tests. Ability to train and supervise subordinates on developing effective psychological/mental health treatment plans; effectively communicate orally and in writing; interpret psychological tests. Skills in observing and evaluating the psychological status of residents; conducting psychotherapy individual/family/group sessions; providing testimony in court hearings; analyzing the psychological status of residents; completing written psychological assessments.
