Job Title: Promotional Review Committee (PRC) Manager

Location: Boston

Job Description

This position is part of the Marketing Operations team who provides support to the brands within the Prescription Business Unit. The Promotional Review Committee (PRC) Manager drives effectiveness and efficiencies within the PRC process. This role works cross-functionally with brand teams, other commercial operations teams, and business partners who require materials for PRC review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop a 90-day PRC review plan by collaborating across brand/function with all contributing parties to distribute and track planning (brand, cross functional partners, agencies, etc...).
  • Lead regular meetings for alignment of the 90-day plan, prioritization of review material, demand and strategic needs.
  • Manage the PRC review process. Ensures comprehensive vetting of all covered communications through the online review system (Veeva Vault/PromoMats), and all required revisions are incorporated into all impacted materials in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies, federal laws, industry standards and established protocols.
  • Lead the planning of PRC activities in support of upcoming key business events (product launches, label updates, POAs, medical congresses, etc.) setting specific event submission deadlines and material prioritization.
  • Oversee the FDA submission process, including managing approvals for distribution and 2253 submissions, demonstrating a commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Manage review timelines setting clear expectations, and facilitating coordination among brands, partners, and the PRC to optimize the efficiency of the review process. Facilitate Review Committee meetings ensuring reviews are conducted according to all policies and procedures and that all outcomes and feedback are accurately recorded.
  • Deliver training sessions on PRC systems and processes for internal and external parties who are new to the PRC process, fostering a comprehensive understanding and adherence to established procedures. Oversee the training content and ongoing updates to ensure stakeholders are knowledgeable, effective and compliant.
  • Play a pivotal role in the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members, providing formal training on systems and processes to ensure a seamless integration into the PRC team.
  • Generate insightful metrics from Veeva Vault, focusing on coverage, volume, and overall PRC performance, contributing to ongoing enhancements and optimization of the review process.
  • Partner and collaborate with the brand/sales training team to assist in prioritization, addressing needs such as sales meetings and label updates. Offer additional project support as required.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of related experience in a corporate environment; sales, marketing, project management; five (5) years preferred.
  • 2-5 years Pharmaceutical Experience preferred. Prior experience managing a Medical, Legal, and/or Regulatory (MLR) review committee.
  • Experience with content management systems.
  • Excellent Communications and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex and cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Sound judgement and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly evolving workplace.
  • Maintains a professional working environment while demonstrating a high sense of urgency and integrity.
