Job Title: Project Manager, People Transformation - Tour of Duty (Open to Location) | 9 - 12 Months

Our highly collaborative Global People Team (GPT) is seeking a project management professional to successfully deliver on Slalom's people initiatives, while also delivering the best possible employee experience.

The Project Manager will be dedicated to driving the processes of designing and implementing a new operating model structure for our teams to better support Slalom team members. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the operating model project effort end-to-end. This role requires deep expertise in leading complex projects and proven experience in managing executive vision and stakeholder needs into one seamless process.

The Project Manager will work closely with the GPT Center of Excellence (COE) teams as well as senior level stakeholders within Global Services and the business. The Project Manager must be able to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects, be energized working at both the strategic and tactical level and build effective partnerships across Global Services and the business. The successful candidate in this role will be a master at bringing different teams and functional areas together to coordinate, collaborate, and co-create a new operating model that will impact all of Slalom.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive operating model design efforts and implementation for the Global People Team leveraging the most effective delivery frameworks (i.e. Waterfall, Agile)
  • Collaborate with project team members to create, execute, and proactively manage realistic project plans that set the project up for success
  • Estimate work effort at varying levels (e.g. high level, task level) using various techniques
  • Proactively manage risk, issues, and influence executive level stakeholders as well as functional leaders
  • Partner with Change Management to integrate Change Management activities into project plans as needed and design a comprehensive experience to bring people into a new way of working
  • Partner with Experience design to ground improvements in the 'Voice of the Employee'
  • Ensure we are meeting the needs of our global markets and are adapting our processes to adjust to the global landscape
  • Contribute to the GPT's project management governance, methodology and toolkits
  • Facilitate balanced project retrospectives and continually seek the voice of the customer
  • Develop and nurture relationships with a multitude of individuals and teams based on trust

What you'll bring:
  • Deep project management experience within HR or Talent functions
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing different solution delivery frameworks to deliver technical and non-technical projects (i.e., Waterfall, Agile); keen understanding of how project management disciplines weave throughout each
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels and ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way
  • Excellent attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Seeks out new environments and embraces ambiguity
  • Proven ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences - technical and business clients, HR functions, and all levels of employees
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results
  • Proven ability to see around corners thinking about both the big picture and individual needs
  • Deep experience engaging and influencing senior business leaders, with strong familiarity regarding international business dynamics
  • Expert in process improvement in matrixed organizations
  • Certifications in project management, change management, LEAN, Six Sigma, etc. preferred but not required
